Pollination season in Loblolly Pine is quite spectacular. Male flowers, or catkins as they’re known, produce clouds of pollen that’s carried by the wind to find receptive female flowers.

This is in recognition of his work in alleviating poverty & hunger through public plant breeding programmes & services to education.

There are four basic ingredients to beer, but only three are essential: malted barley, yeast and water. However, beer made with only these three will be sickly-sweet and dull. Throughout brewing history, brewers have added something extra to give their beer balance and depth.
