What a journey we have been on!  We began our podcast series back in early 2021 in the middle of the pandemic when travel restrictions came into force. We started to look at ways in which we could continue to communicate and connect with our global community of plant breeders and seed producers from around the world...

We are delighted to see our pollination bags helping towards a mighty mission indeed, one that hopes to revive the American chestnut tree, a tree which scientists say is “functionally extinct.”

The PBS International team had the pleasure of hosting Nebraska Grain Sorghum Board and York County Nebraska Development Corporation on a recent visit to the City of York, England, prior to an official trade mission with the Governor of Nebraska in London. We were delighted to see York News Times write an article around the visit!

We are delighted to announce that our latest research paper has now been published,  Increasing seed set and pollen proofing in Brassica juncea (Mustard) and Brassica napus (Rapeseed) through novel non-woven synthetic pollination control bags and we’re delighted with the results!

We had a great call with Nate Blum, Executive Director at the Nebraska Sorghum Board and Lisa Hurley Business & Community Growth Specialist at York County Development Corporation this week. Great to connect with like-minded people around the world!

On the 30th of May we attended the EUCARPIA’s 25th Maize and Sorghum Conference in Belgrade. The conference brought together a group of professionals for a scientific exchange around current challenges and new methods for Maize and Sorghum breeding.
