We recently visited our customers, Puregene, in Switzerland, to attend their Field Days Research Symposium and to check-in on our pollination control research study collaboration.
Puregene is a genomics-based plant breeding company that combines Swiss quality with extensive plant expertise and cutting-edge breeding technologies. Their research approach uses genomics and massive datasets to predict cannabis improvement. Using their data-driven pipeline, they can combine all characteristics of cannabis or hemp to fit the desires of their clients, creating unique varieties naturally.
During the visit, we learnt about Puregene’s revolutionary cannabis research and visited their THC field which is growing THC cannabis for the current Swiss pilot programme.
PBS International are working with Puregene to test the efficiency and effectiveness of a range of products in cannabis and hemp which facilitate crosses and prevent unwanted pollen contamination, both indoors and outdoors. In this video we explore the Puregene Campus and talk Head of Plant Breeding, Dr Max Vogt, who explains the benefits of using PBS bags in their breeding programme.
